Commercial Facility Management combines services in three areas that are of central importance for the operation and management of the university properties. With the aim of achieving a high degree of space efficiency, it ensures the spatial accommodation of all university facilities and the energy supply of all buildings, as well as managing all rental and lease relationships of Ruhr University Bochum. In addition, the Construction and Facility Management division ensures that construction, service and supply contracts are tendered and procured in accordance with public procurement law and that finance and accounting are carried out properly.
