- monitor the entire system technology on campus, in Ruhr University Bochum's external properties including HSBO and AkaFö
- record and assess alarm and fault messages from the various systems
- receive automated and telephone fire alarms and notify the relevant emergency services of Ruhr University Bochum
- accept emergency calls from elevators, laboratories and disabled toilets and take measures to provide assistance as quickly as possible
- forward incoming OTRS tickets to the relevant specialist groups for further processing
