Yes, indeed - summer vacation is almost here again. What makes children happy can cause organizational difficulties for working parents. However - we are here to help: Once again we are offering to all employees and students our three-week summer holiday camp for children aged six to twelve in cooperation with the BUK Family Service from July 20 to August 7, 2026.
Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, your children will have the opportunity to experience an action-packed week, travel around the world (without leaving the Ruhr Area) and become nature explorers.
During the "Action" week, there will be a trip to the Urban Blue water playground and to the sports field of RUB University Sports. The "Once around the world" theme takes them from Bochum to Dortmund to the Mondo Mio children's museum and the "Nature explorers" will visit the zoo in Bochum.
The three weeks can be booked together or individually.
The days start between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. with a breakfast buffet. The lunch break takes place in the Ruhr University canteen.
The children can be collected from the Uni-Forum between 2.30 and 5 p.m. - on excursion days collection is only possible from 4 p.m. onwards.
