Mobility Management

Mobility Management deals with the central question of how we can all influence our mobility behavior.

At Ruhr University Bochum, we differentiate between to-campus mobility and on-campus mobility and thus the key questions: How do we move to the campus and how do we move around the campus? This includes external properties.

In our overall project "Mobility Measures on Campus", we are focusing primarily on on-campus mobility with the following projects:

1. Car (parking without charging and parking space management)

2. Bicycle (parking without charging and accompanying infrastructure)

3. eMobility

4. Routing and accessibility

5. Quality of Stay

6. Business Trips

7. Travel Policy

The majority of to-campus mobility is the responsibility of the city of Bochum. We contribute our concerns in the area of mobility to the "Campus Working Group", which was set up by the city to centrally coordinate all topics from the campus framework plan.
