Program Coordination Sustainability

As part of its social mission, Ruhr University Bochum aims to be a driving force and reservoir of knowledge for the creation of sustainability.

It has anchored this responsibility in a sustainability strategy that serves as a guiding principle and compass for a responsible future. The consistent implementation and further development of this program is driven forward in joint cooperation with all members of the university.

Core Tasks

Coordinating the development and implementation of the sustainability strategy
Further development of the public image and planning of high-profile activities
Advising and coordinating the central sustainability stakeholders and committees
Networking with partners from the region, other universities, business and relevant institutions
Participation in cross-university networks and projects
