5.8 Sustainability and Energy (NE)
The division Sustainability and Energy (NE) is the central coordination and contact point for sustainability at Ruhr University Bochum and is responsible for implementing the sustainability strategy in the area of organization.
It is also responsible for the commercial operation of the university's combined heat and power plant and energy purchasing.
With its sustainability strategy "Sustainable RUB 2030", Ruhr University Bochum is striving to be a driving force and knowledge reservoir for the creation of sustainability as part of its social mission. The division makes a significant contribution to this.
