In order to expand their competences and knowledge, employees of Ruhr University Bochum can take advantage of professional training programs, professional consultancy and individual assistance.
In order to enable this development both for individual employees and for the organization as a whole, the Administrative Department of Strategic Personnel and Talent Development offers the following services.

- A comprehensive in-house professional training program in Ruhr University Bochum’s Professional Training Portal (in German)
- Coordination and further development of the Professional training portal as central training platform
- Offers on equal opportunities, inclusion and diversity (in German)
- Development and organization of demand-oriented professional training programs (in German)
- Guidance on continuing professional development (in German, login required)
- Target group-specific mentoring programmes for the career development of female early career researchers (in German, login required)
- Planning, development and implementation of customized gender equality measures for projects funded by the German Research Foundation (in German, login required)
