VAT and Income Taxes

The division deals with the University's VAT and income tax matters within the scope of its commercial operations (BgA for short).

Core tasks

In addition to supporting and advising the faculties and the administration, our area of activity includes in particular

  • Reviewing contracts from a tax law perspective
  • Preparation of tax returns
  • Advising, supporting and setting up cost centers (“Finanzstellen”) in the tax area
  • Assisting with tax audits
