At the interface between school and university, we offer pupils and prospective students orientation and give them the opportunity to discover studying and the RUB for themselves.

Junge Uni - RUB offers for school pupils

Under the name "Junge Uni" (Young University), Ruhr-Universität brings together a variety of offers that give pupils of all ages an insight into scientific practice and everyday campus life. As part of the umbrella brand, the team coordinates interdisciplinary projects such as Girls' Day and Boys' Day, the KinderUni, SchülerUni.Bochum and the Dr. Hans Riegel subject prizes.

Preparing for university

The study and career guidance offers for pupils include

the University Days, on which school classes, year groups or advanced courses visit the university,
career-oriented internships at the university,
Workshops and coaching on study orientation
advice and information for pupils at school events on study and career guidance
as well as appearing at nationwide fairs for high school graduates.
