Technical Building Equipment (TGA)

The Technical Building Equipment are divided into area teams, each of which is responsible for one row of buildings. The teams are divided into rows I, N and MG as well as the AB team for the outdoor areas.

They are responsible for looking after laboratory equipment, servicing and maintaining fume cupboards, digestors and air washers. Smoke extraction systems and water treatment systems also fall within this field of activity.

In addition to supervising external companies, you will also be responsible for supporting the planning of new construction and conversion measures as well as maintaining the heating network within the buildings (radiators, heating pipes, etc.).

Core Tasks

Supervision of:

• Special systems deionized water
• Fume cupboards, digestors, air washers etc.
• Smoke and heat extraction and smoke protection pressure systems

Decentralized heating (radiators, heating pipes, etc.):

• External company support (maintenance, construction work)
• Troubleshooting (ticket system)
• Definition and implementation of energy-saving measures
• Inspection tours in the area of responsibility
