University Management
The Council of Deans advises the Rectorate and the University Council on matters of research, art, teaching and studies that affect the entire university and central facilities and are of fundamental importance.
It also serves to inform the faculties. It ensures the exchange of information between the faculties and the central level as well as between the faculties themselves. The Council of Deans also supports the faculties in coordinating their tasks.
The conference takes place at least twice a semester. An integral part of each conference is the report of the Rectorate and the exchange with the administration department.
The deans of Faculties I-XXI are members of the Council of Deans.
The Equal Opportunities Officer is invited to the meetings with the right to propose motions and speak. The Chairperson of the Senate, the Dean of Studies of the Optionalbereich (Optional Area), the Managing Director of the Institute of Applied Work Science, the Managing Director of the Institut für Neuroinformatik (Institute of Neuroinformatics) and the Director of the Professional School of Education attend the Council of Deans as permanent guests.
