Heat Supply (WV)
The Heat Supply special area is responsible for the generation and provision of district heating for all consumers on campus.
The operational and supply reliability of our eight-kilometre-long district heating network with a total heat output of around 70 megawatts plays just as essential a role as the continuous energy optimization of our plants.
The generation and supply of energy involves a variety of systems that require a high level of experience, expertise and a willingness to innovate from the employees on site.
The ever-increasing demands on climate protection in the future also require state-of-the-art solutions. After all, climate-friendly energy generation is key to achieving ambitious climate policy goals.
