Refrigeration Technology (KT)
The refrigeration technology special area operates all central and decentralized refrigeration systems at the university.
The spectrum ranges from small split air conditioning systems with a cooling capacity of three kilowatts to the specialist operation of the central cooling plant with a total cooling capacity of eleven megawatts.
The department is also responsible for cold storage and deep-freeze rooms, air-conditioning and constant climate rooms, dehumidification systems and primary equipment cooling.
