Digitalization and Personnel Reporting in Department 3

The division is responsible for digital matters in the HR department, personnel reporting and fundamental employment and collective bargaining law issues relating to the employment relationship.

On the one hand, the areas of work include consulting, review, structuring and project work in digital matters of a personnel law nature. On the other hand, the division deals with reporting, key figures and statistics relating to HR.

Core Tasks

  • Project management for the projects
    - "Digital leave management", "Digital sick leave" (internal software solution in the area of absence management)
    - "RUB4Talents" (introduction of an IT-supported application management system)
  • Administrative support for personnel management systems and associated user training
    - HIS-SVA
    - BITE
    - Digital absence management
    - Application system for flexible working
  • Personnel reporting
    - Reporting
    - Key figures
    - Statistics
  • Import and further processing of personnel cost data from the Landesamt für Besoldung und Versorgung (engl.: State Office for Salaries and Benefits; LBV)
  • Review and evaluation of labor law regulations, legal changes, rulings and collective agreements as well as the design of forms and checklists
  • Preparation of information on the main content of labor and collective bargaining regulations for the specialist divisions of Department 3 as well as the associated advice and training
  • Preparation and design of campus information letters on labor and collective bargaining law topics for the faculties, central administration and committees
  • Training on labor and collective bargaining law topics
