The main building entrance doors are regularly open campus-wide as follows:
During opening hours, the buildings can be entered through the main entrance doors. The side entrance doors remain permanently locked. It is possible to leave the building at any time via all main and side entrance doors. The buildings cannot be entered outside opening hours.
If there is a valid reason to enter the buildings outside regular opening hours, an application including justification for access authorization must be submitted.
There is no division into main and side entrance doors for the buildings of the external properties. The regular opening hours apply to all building entrance doors.

Buildings are closed on weekends and public holidays.
The following buildings are open for courses:
In addition, the University Library remains open seven days a week. Other libraries may have different opening hours.
The Beckmannshof, the Audimax, the Event Center and the Music Center, where individual arrangements are possible on event days, are still exempt from the weekend regulations.
