Department 1 coordinates all external and internal surveys directed to members and affiliates of Ruhr University Bochum on behalf of the Rectorate. We review survey requests and coordinate the timing of individual surveys.
Such coordination is necessary due to the high number of surveys to be conducted at RUB. Applications should be submitted as far in advance as possible. This increases the chances of approval, as does the collection of random samples (instead of full surveys) and the open handling of anonymous raw data.
The university administration decides on the implementation of survey projects on the basis of review criteria. Applications may be rejected.

Alternatively, you can download the survey coordination form directly from the bottom of this homepage and fill it out and send it to us. We need this information to enable the Rectorate to make a decision on whether to conduct the survey based on the test criteria listed below.
